Design Questions

Everything! Whether you need a logo, digital asset, or publication, we’re here to support all your design needs.

Great question! There are many designers who can create beautiful graphics, logos, and visual assets. What sets us apart is our focus on strategy. We work closely with you to understand your goals, your audience, and how you want to serve your clients.

We take a deep dive into what makes your brand unique and explore how to position it for long-term success, not just surface-level appeal. Do you want a brand that truly resonates with your audience, or are you settling for something that just looks okay? Our goal is to push beyond the obvious, uncover new possibilities, and create a brand that not only stands out but drives results.

After your logo is completed, we provide high-resolution files in the following formats: .jpg, .png, .eps, and .tiff. These files will be delivered in both CMYK for print and RGB for digital use, along with black and white versions of your final logo. We’ll also include a brand cheat sheet to help you use your new branding consistently and confidently.

At the start of the project, we’ll either schedule a call to talk through what you’re looking for or have you complete a detailed questionnaire. This helps us understand everything we need to know to build your brand and the strategy behind it. While we take your design preferences into account, our priority is creating a brand that works for your business and resonates with your target audience. Everything we create is grounded in strategy and research. We’ll guide you through the reasoning behind each decision so you feel confident and satisfied with the final result.

General

Absolutely! If you need monthly graphics and design work, we can set you up on a monthly retainer tailored to the amount of work needed each month.

Yes! We work with clients worldwide and use Zoom, Skype, and email to keep everything running smoothly no matter where you are.

At the start of the project, we schedule a consultation to ensure we’re a good fit for one another. The deposit is non-refundable, but if at any point you feel the work isn’t aligning with your vision, you won’t be required to pay the remaining balance. This is a rare occurrence, as we make every effort to stay aligned and ensure your expectations are met throughout the process.

We act as your personal creative agency, handling nearly everything related to design and front-end development. From product development and packaging to custom calligraphy and print management, we offer a wide range of services to support your vision. Check out our full service list and reach out. We’d love to talk more about how we can help.

The more details you share in the contact form, the better we can understand your needs and provide a tailored quote, including any rush charges that may apply.

As part of our observance of the Sabbath from sunset Friday to sunset Saturday, we take this time as a day of rest. During this period, we do not work or respond to texts, emails, or calls. We appreciate your understanding and will follow up promptly after the Sabbath ends.

Payment & Timing

For most of our clients, we offer project-based pricing. However, if you prefer hourly billing, let us know and we can discuss your needs in more detail.

Payment for services is submitted through an invoice and paid through my payment portal (Dubsado) via Stripe. All project payments are due in two parts. A 33% non-refundable payment is due prior to work beginning and to hold your spot in the queue. The second half of the project payment is delivered at project completion before final files are delivered and/or website is launched. Depending on the complete total cost, various payment options are available as I am pretty flexible.

Project timelines can vary depending on client response times, including revisions and content delivery. To keep things on track, we establish a set schedule before starting your project. Rush services are available if needed, for an additional fee.

Our goal is to make this process as stress-free as possible, and we’re happy to work with you on a payment plan. We typically split payments into thirds, but if you need a more extended schedule, we’re flexible and can find a solution that works for you.

Web Questions

We have experience working with a wide variety of website platforms. Our most commonly requested platforms are WordPress, Shopify, and Squarespace, but we’ve also worked with Drupal, Wix, Weebly, Kajabi, and several others.

Absolutely. We prioritize accessibility in both design and development to ensure your website is usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. From choosing accessible color contrasts and clear typography to implementing proper semantic HTML and keyboard navigation, we build with inclusivity in mind. This depends on the platform you choose. For Shopify and Squarespace, hosting is included and must be purchased directly through their platforms.

For WordPress, we offer optional hosting for $480 per year, which includes monthly plugin and core updates along with security monitoring. If you prefer to manage your own hosting, our recommended providers are listed below.

Yes, we do. We offer three tiers of maintenance plans to fit different business needs. If none of these options are quite right for you, let us know and we can create a custom plan tailored to your requirements.
  • Basics ($100/month): We perform plugin and core updates twice a month, monitor site security, and fix minor errors. This plan includes up to 4 hours of support per month.
  • Intermediate ($200/month): Includes everything in the Basics plan, plus content updates and feature additions. You receive up to 10 hours of support each month.
  • Advanced ($400/month): Covers all services listed above, with up to 20 hours of support. This can include building landing pages, creating new pages, adding content, and more—whatever you need for your existing site.

Ideally, yes. To ensure we deliver the highest quality work on time, all content should be provided at the start of the project. If content is delayed, the timeline will need to be adjusted to account for the additional waiting period.
